One of the most acclaimed bands of all time, AC/DC, are returning to Scotland for the first time since 2015.
The ‘POWER UP’ tour, named after their latest studio album, will bring the Australian rock legends to Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, on the 21st of August, 2025.

The Pretty Reckless, a grunge-rock band, will support the tour as they travel throughout Europe, only stopping in the UK for their Scottish performance.
More dates may be announced depending on the success and demand of their European shows.
The last time AC/DC visited the UK was in 2024, when they performed two huge shows in the Wembley Stadium.

The album that the tour is named after is the band’s most recent release and is dedicated to the memory of rhythm guitarist and co-founder, Malcolm Young, in 2017.
After his death, AC/DC vocalist, Brian Johnson, said “He was the band. Him and Angus started it, but it was Malcolm’s idea. He was our spiritual leader.”

Malcom’s funeral was decorated with aspects of Scottish culture, with the band recalling their fondness for the country often during interviews. This could contribute to the reason behind the seemingly random show date during a tour that is dedicated to the band’s late friend.
Tickets to the tour are officially sold out and have been since the day of the announcement, with the most expensive going for £169.
However, hopeful fans may find resale tickets on Ticketmaster prior to the show. Keep an eye on the band’s socials to be the first to know if they add additional dates to this long-awaited tour.
