Stirling’s one-stop shop for witchcraft, divination and healing has moved from the Stirling Arcade to Murray Place.
The new shop includes a tarot reading space with a witches tea room coming soon.
Within the shop you can smell a flurry of herbs, candle scents and incense burners. It’s as if you have stepped into Baba Yaga’s hut, minus the fear of being eaten. The storefront is the same herb coloured green familiar to the previous shop, and the shelves stretch from top to bottom, filled with oils, books and crystals.
Crow Curiosities and Co first came to Stirling when former Stirling council officer, Lisa Lang, wanted to expand her interest in witchcraft, a passion she has had since she was a teenager.
She believes people have become more ‘outdoorsy’ and spiritual since the Covid pandemic and hopes people will come into the shop and have fun.
“We want to make it a little community hub.” She said.
Lisa is creating another essential third space in Stirling. Third spaces are places other than home or work where people can socialise, particularly spaces that are free to access.
When asked about her hopes for the new shop, Lang said: “As I opened the doors to Crow Curiosities, my hopes were that I’d spark a little magic in everyone’s lives and create a sanctuary where people can be their true authentic selves. For me, witchcraft is a journey of connection, empowerment, healing and of course reverence for the unseen threads that weave our world.”
Within the tea room, people are welcome to make their own tea out of the shop’s herbs or enjoy one of the premade blends.
The shop is open from 10am to 5pm, seven days a week. They also offer witchcraft classes which have been very popular.
